Who we are

How we help...

ME/CFS Australia is the peak body for patient-led ME/CFS charities across Australia. Our focus is on advocacy with the federal government; research initiatives; national collaboration between organisations; and awareness campaigns.

We aim to improve access and inclusion for people with ME/CFS in health care, disability services, welfare, and other national services. 

We do not offer member services to individuals as this is provided by local organisations. 

You can also find peer support in the private Facebook group administered by volunteers from our member organisation, ME/CFS South Australia. 

Incorporated in 1999, ME/CFS Australia Ltd is:

• an ACNC registered charity
• with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status. Any donations over $2 are tax-deductible.

Our Team

Most of our volunteers have ME/CFS, including severely, some of us care for a person with the illness, and some simply want to contribute to a better world for people with ME/CFS.
