The tick-borne bacterial infection known as Lyme disease gained prominence again after singer Justin Timberlake shared, on July 31, 2025, his personal experience facing the condition during the *Forget Tomorrow* tour. In addition to Timberlake, other global personalities, such as Justin Bieber and Avril Lavigne, had already detailed their struggles with Lyme’s disease. Although Embora is a rare condition in Brasil, the infection is significantly more common in countries in América, Norte and Europa, where the incidence of transmitting ticks is higher.
